It’s official, Holding & Co. Photography are Award Winning Photographers! We just found out today that we won 3rd Place in creativeLIVE and Scott Robert Lim’s $10k Wedding Photography Contest, which was announced live to thousands of people around the world. creativeLIVE is the premiere worldwide creative online classroom offering live, free education in photography, business, design and more. This week’s instructor was Scott Robert Lim, he is an international rockstar when it comes to wedding photography and just happens to be our favorite of all the rotating instructors at creativeLIVE. This week’s course was entitled, “Think Like a $10K Wedding Photographer”, the premise is simple enough, it’s a “how-to”  become a luxury, high-end wedding photographer. Numerous times this whole week, the contest was mentioned, entered by countless photographers and the winners were announced this afternoon on the final day of the course. The contest rules were simple, submit your favorite “$10K wedding photo”. We chose to submit a photo taken from the grand sparkler exit of Chaunti + Garrett’s wedding from earlier this fall. It’s dark, moody and dramatic and has quickly become one of our favorites. We had no idea that we’d place, I mean seriously what are the odds?! Here is a quick screen shot of Scott Robert Lim announcing us as the 3rd place winner and standing next to our image. Watching our photo be announced a winner was an experience we’ll never forget. So many emotions; it was surreal, exciting and overwhelming all at once. The best part of this whole experience has been the outpouring of support from our family, friends and all of you out there who follow us and our work. We are so blessed and excited.
